Debs is an esteemed teacher/trainer affiliated with Romana’s Pilates International, boasting an impressive tenure of over 24 years immersed in the original teachings of Joe Pilates. Her journey began under the tutelage of Romana Krysanowska, directly inheriting Joe’s legacy, alongside guidance from Cynthia Lochard.
Deborah’s Pilates expertise flourished through her close collaboration with Cynthia in Sydney before embarking on an enriching global odyssey with her family. From Nigeria to Kazakhstan, Ghana to Dubai, and Cape Town, she swiftly established her studios, perpetuating the Pilates tradition in every corner of the world she touched down.
Fuelling her passion from a tender age, Deborah’s fervor for understanding the intricacies of bodily health and fitness led her to pursue a degree in sports science. This educational foundation equipped her with an in-depth understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanical functions, igniting a lifelong dedication to preserving and propagating the original essence of Pilates.
Debs, leveraging her rich tapestry of teachings and experiences garnered over two decades, now channels her expertise into the art of Contrology at Precision Pilates Academy.
